1. RULE TITLE: GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL DEGREES,
CERTIFICATES AND DIPLOMAS 6Hx23-4.24

SUMMARY, PURPOSE, AND EFFECT: The proposed changes to the Rule will
update titles for certificates and diplomas to align with the language used by the
state of Florida.

2. RULE TITLE: GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ASSOCIATE IN
SCIENCE AND ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED SCIENCE DEGREES 6Hx23-4.29

SUMMARY, PURPOSE, AND EFFECT: The proposed changes to the Rule will
repeal the Rule which is no longer necessary.

SPECIFIC AUTHORITY: 1001.64(4)(a) and (b), F.S.
LAW IMPLEMENTED: 1001.64(4)(a) & (b), F.S.

3. RULE TITLE: INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT 6Hx23-5.08

SUMMARY, PURPOSE, AND EFFECT: The proposed changes to the Rule will
change the title to the Rule to Insurance Programs and update the Rule to align
the College’s insurance offerings through the Florida College Risk Management
Consortium and the College’s insurance broker.

LAW IMPLEMENTED: 112.08,112.13, 768.28, F.S.; SBE Rule 6A-14.0261, F.A.C.

DURING THE RULE DEVELOPMENT STAGE, CONSIDERATIONS MAY BE GIVEN TO CHANGES, ADDITIONS, AND/OR DELETIONS OF ANY PART OF THESE RULES AS MAY BE RECOMMENDED.
