Request for Proposals for Annual Auditing Services for Habitat Community Development District for Fiscal Year 2025 and Notice of Audit Selection
Committee Meeting

Premier District Management on behalf of the Habitat Community Development District is requesting proposals from qualified independent Certified Public Accounting Firms for an independent annual audit of the District’s general-purpose financial statements for fiscal year 2025, with an option for additional annual renewals. The District is a local unit of special – purpose government created under Chapter 190, Florida Statues, for the purpose of financing, constructing, and maintaining public infrastructure. The District is in Lee County and has an annual operating budget of approximately $1,939,370 inclusive of debt service.

The auditing entity submitting a proposal must be duly licensed under Chapter 473, Florida Statues and be qualified to conduct audits in accordance with the “Government Auditing Standards,” as adopted by the Florida Board of Accountancy. Audits shall be conducted in accordance with Florida Law and particularly Section 218.39, Florida Statues, and the rules for the Florida Auditor General.

Proposal packages, which include evaluation criteria and instructions to proposers are available from the District’s Management Company at the address and telephone number listed below.

Sealed, printed proposal packets must be received by 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 12, 2025 in the office of the District Manager at the address listed below. The envelope must be marked Auditing Services – Habitat CDD” and must include seven (7) hard copies and one electronic copy on a flash drive. Proposals received after this time will not be accepted.

The Audit Selection Committee on behalf of the Habitat Community Development
District will hold a meeting on Tuesday, September 16 at 3:45p.m., at the Bella Terra
Clubhouse, 20070 Bella Terra Blvd. Estero, FL, 33928 relating to the District’s Fiscal Year-End September 30, 2025 Audit Proposals and Process. The regularly scheduled meeting of the Habitat Community Development District will immediately follow.

The meeting is open to the public and will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Florida Law for Community Development Districts. The meeting may be continued to a date, time, and place to be specified on the record at the meeting.
