PUBLIC NOTICE
The Manatee County Building and Construction Services, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the Manatee County intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located east of Sawgrass Rd, west of Fort Hamer Rd, and north of Moccasin Wallow Rd. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of the Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) Case No. 25-04-5995P. Specifically, the flood hazard information will be revised within the Little Manatee River Watershed. Pulte Homes constructed a residential development that affected several flood sources, including the Curiosity Creek Tributary, Del Webb Ditch 1, unnamed ponding areas, and unnamed wetland areas.

As a result of the revision, the 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall increase, decrease, and be established, and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen, narrow, and be established within the area of revision.
