TOWN COMMISSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Commission of the Town of Oakland, Florida will hold a public hearing to consider a proposed Rezoning, Development Agreement, and Preliminary Subdivision Plan for the property generally located on the north side of State Road 50, at the northwest corner of the intersection of State Road 50 and Catherine Ross Road, as more specifically described below.

PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION
The purpose of these public hearings is to consider a Rezoning, Development Agreement, and Preliminary Subdivision Plan for the property generally located on the north side of State Road 50, at the northwest corner of the intersection of State Road 50 and Catherine Ross Road, as more specifically described below.

Proposed Changes:
Ordinance No. 2026-05 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A TOWN OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AMENDMENT FROM C-1, COMMERCIAL GENERAL WITHIN THE URBAN CORRIDOR DESIGN DISTRICT, TO PUD, PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE URBAN CORRIDOR DESIGN DISTRICT, FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY OAKLAND TOWN CENTER, LLC, GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF STATE ROAD 50, AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF STATE ROAD 50 AND CATHERINE ROSS ROAD, AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, WITH AN APPROXIMATE SIZE OF 14.80 ACRES; APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PROPERTY OWNER AND THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, AND APPROVING A PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAN, MAKING FINDINGS, AND PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
All interested parties are invited to appear at the public hearing and be heard regarding the proposed ordinance. A copy of the proposed ordinance may be obtained from and written comments may be submitted prior to the hearings to:
