a minor child
Eric Joseph Steinbrunner is notified that a petition for adoption of a child named, Peyton Lynn Steinbrunner, born on October 5, 2016, by the spouse of the biological parent of the Child ,was filed in the office of the Clerk the Hamilton Superior Court, Room No. 5, One Hamilton County Square, Noblesville, Indiana 46060. The petition for adoption alleges that the consent of Eric Joseph Steinbrunner is not required pursuant to Indiana Code § 31-19-9-8(a)(1), Indiana Code § 31-19-9-8(a)(2) and (a)(11).
If Eric Joseph Steinbrunner does not file a motion to contest the adoption within fifteen (15) days after the service of this notice, the above named court will hear and determine the petition for adoption, the consent of Eric Joseph Steinbrunner will be irrevocably implied, and Eric Joseph Steinbrunner will lose his right to contest either the adoption or the validity of his implied consent to the adoption.
No oral statements made to Eric Joseph Steinbrunner relieves him of his obligations under this notice.
This notice complies with Indiana Code § 31-19-4.5-3 but does not exhaustively set forth a person’s legal obligations under the Indiana adoption statutes. A person being served with this notice should consult the Indiana adoption statutes.
