PUBLIC NOTICE
The Orange County Stormwater Management Division, in accordance with National Flood insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby give notice of the County’s intent hereby gives notice of its intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located along the north shore of Lake Hancock along New Independence Parkway from Hamlin Groves Trail to the box culvert interconnecting Lake Hancock with Lake Hartley The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of a Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) Case No. 25-04-1690R for a proposed project along Lake Hancock. Once the Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) request should be submitted that will, in part, revise the following hazards along Lake Hancock.
As a result of the revision, the 1% annual chance water-surface elevation shall increase, and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen and narrow within the area of revision.
Maps and detailed analysis of the revision can be reviewed at the Orange County Stormwater Management Division of Public Works at 4200 South John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL 32839. Interested persons may call Daniel Negron at 407-836-7990 for additional information from Monday to Friday.
