PUBLIC NOTICE
The Manatee County Building and Construction Services, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of Manatee County’s intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located East of Sawgrass Road, West of Fort Hamer Road, and North of Moccasin Wallow Road. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) Case No. 25-04-5995P. Specifically, the flood hazard information will be revised within the Little Manatee River Watershed. Pulte Homes constructed a residential development, affecting several unnamed wetlands and ponds, including POND 15, POND 16, POND 3A1, POND 3A2, POND 48, POND 5A, POND 5B, POND 6, POND 8, POND W5, POND W7, POND W8B, POND W9, POND X, SUMP 1, SUMP 12, SUMP 30, SUMP 3C, SUMP 3D, SUMP 5, SUMP 6, SUMP 8A, WETLAND 12, WETLAND 16, WETLAND 3A, WETLAND 48, WETLAND 4A, WETLAND 5, WETLAND 6, WETLAND 7, WETLAND 7- MG and WETLAND 8.
As a result of the revision, the 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall increase, decrease, and be established, and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen, narrow, and be established within the area of revision.
