NOTICE

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking information to inform consultation in accordance with the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended. VA is proposing to demolish the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union building on the Bay Point VA Medical Center campus at 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, FL, near the intersection of Cemetery Road and Hoover.

The MIDFLORIDA Credit Union building is a non-contributing resource to the Bay Pines VA Medical Center historic district, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. If you have any information about historic properties in the vicinity of this project, or if you would like to comment on the potential effects of this project, please contact VA Deputy Federal Preservation Officer Alec Bennett at [email protected]. The opportunity to provide information or comment will be open until February 27, 2026 at 5:00 PM Eastern time.
