CITY OF OLDSMAR, FLORIDA REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS 2026-009-RFP: AUDITING SERVICES
The City of Oldsmar, Florida, a Florida Municipal Corporation, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in entering into an agreement with the City of Oldsmar to provide the City with Auditing Services. The City is seeking proposals from qualified firms of independent Certified Public Accountants to conduct an audit of the financial statements of the City.
Firms with demonstrated expertise in this field are invited to submit a proposal. The Request for Proposal (RFP) can be obtained from the City of Oldsmar, Administrative Services Department, 100 State Street West, Oldsmar, Florida 34677-3655; or the City of Oldsmar website at www.oldsmarfl.gov on June 26, 2026. Questions regarding this RFP should be directed to Jennifer Campbell, Senior Procurement Analyst, at [email protected]. All questions must be received in writing no later than 5:00 PM, local time, July 13, 2026, and will be answered via written addendum.
The proposals shall be submitted to the City of Oldsmar, to the attention of the Administrative Services Department, 100 State Street West, Oldsmar, Florida, 34677-3655 no later than 2:00 PM, local time, July 28, 2026, at which time and place they will be opened in the City Hall 2nd Floor Conference Room, located at 100 State Street W. in Oldsmar, Florida.
The Auditor Selection Committee shall rank and recommend in order of preference the firms deemed to be the most highly qualified to perform the required services. This determination shall be made based on the evaluation criteria set forth in this RFP. The City Council shall then select one of the firms. The City Council, or its designee, shall negotiate a contract with the highest-ranked qualified firm unless it documents in its public records the reason for not selecting the highest-ranked qualified firm.
