Notice is hereby given that Sunshine Water Services Company (“SWS”), has filed an Application for Approval for the transfer to it of the wastewater system owned by Placid Lakes Utilities, Inc. (“Placid Lakes”) and to amend Wastewater Certificate No. 347-S, to add the following land in Highlands County, Florida, pursuant to Sections 367.045 and 367.071, Florida Statutes, and Rules 25-30.030 and 25-30.037, Florida Administrative Code.

SWS is not requesting a change to the current rates and charges that currently apply to Placid Lakes wastewater customers; therefore, your current rates will not be affected by this transfer. Placid Lakes provides service to water and wastewater systems to the Placid Lakes Subdivision in the following described territory in Highlands County, Florida:
