NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Commission of the Town of Oakland, Florida will hold a public hearing to consider Ordinance No. 2026-02 for a proposed Small Scale Future Land Use Map Amendment and Ordinance No. 2026-03 for a proposed Rezoning for the property located at 2253 Bay Line Road, as more specifically described below.

PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION
The purpose of these public hearings is to consider a Small Scale Future Land Use Map Amendment and Rezoning for the property located at 2253 Bay Line Road.

ORDINANCE NO. 2026-02
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A SMALL SCALE TOWN FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT OF ITS COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FROM AGRICULTURE TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY FLORIANO AND NIESA PUTIGNA, LOCATED AT THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS: 2253 BAY LINE ROAD, AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, WITH AN APPROXIMATE SIZE OF 12.91 ACRES; MAKING FINDINGS, AND PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A TOWN OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AMENDMENT FROM A-1, AGRICULTURAL WITHIN THE NEIGHBORHOOD GENERAL DESIGN DISTRICT, TO R-1A, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL WITHIN THE NEIGHBORHOOD GENERAL DESIGN DISTRICT, FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY FLORIANO AND NIESA PUTIGNA, LOCATED AT THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS: 2253 BAY LINE ROAD, AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, WITH AN APPROXIMATE SIZE OF 12.91 ACRES; MAKING FINDINGS, AND PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

All interested parties are invited to appear at the public hearings and be heard regarding the proposed amendment. A copy of the proposed comprehensive plan amendment and rezoning may be obtained from and written comments may be submitted prior to the hearings to:
