NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO CONSIDER AN AMENDMENT
TO THE CITY OF OCOEE CODE OF ORDINANCE
RELATING TO CHAPTER 87
UPDATING THE IMPACT FEE SCHEDULE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, will consider adopting a proposed amendment to Chapter 87 of the City of Ocoee Code of Ordinances to update the Impact Fee Schedule.
A PUBLIC HEARING on the proposed ordinance will be held before the OCOEE CITY COMMISSION on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2026, AT 6:15 P.M. or as soon thereafter as practical, in the City of Ocoee Commission Chamber, located at 1 North Bluford Avenue, Ocoee, Florida.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE RELATING TO MUNICIPAL IMPACT FEES; AMENDING SECTIONS 87-18 (RECREATIONAL PARK IMPACT FEES), 87-30 (FIRE IMPACT FEES), AND 87-42 (POLICE IMPACT FEES) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES; ADOPTING UPDATED IMPACT FEES FOR RECREATIONAL PARK, FIRE, AND POLICE SERVICES BASED ON THE 2026 MUNICIPAL IMPACT FEE STUDY; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PREVAILING IN THE EVENT OF ANY INCONSISTENCY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WITH AN IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE PURSUANT TO SECTION 163.31801(6)(C), FLORIDA STATUTES.
Interested parties may appear at the public hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed action. The complete case file, including a complete legal description by meets and bounds, may be inspected at the Ocoee Development Services Department located at 1 North Bluford Avenue, Ocoee, Florida, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays. The Ocoee City Commission may continue the public hearing to other dates and times, as it deems necessary. Any interested party shall be advised of the dates, times, and places of any continuation of these or continued public hearings shall be announced during the hearing, and no further notices regarding these matters will be published. You are advised that any person who desires to appeal any decision made at the public hearings will need a record of the proceedings and, for this purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
