NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSED FEE FOR
DRIVEWAY PAVER REQUESTS ON DISTRICT PROPERTY

In accordance with Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, the Westchase Community Development District (the “District”) hereby gives notice of a public hearing on the proposed implementation of a fee for any resident requesting to install driveway pavers on District Property.

The proposed fee, as may be amended by the Board of Supervisors of the District at the public hearing, is as follows:

Fee for District review and processing of a request to install driveway pavers on District Property: $500.00(*)

*Note: The payment of a fee for the review and processing of a driveway paver request on District property does not assure any approval of such request by the District. The determination of whether to approve the request is at the District’s sole and absolute discretion.

The hearing will be for the purpose of reviewing and setting the fee for driveway paver requests on District property, to provide for efficient and effective District operations, and to enable the District to recover the costs of providing the services. At the conclusion of the hearing, the Board of Supervisors may adopt the fee as finally approved by the Board.

The Florida Statutes being implemented include Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, generally, and Section 190.035, Florida Statutes, specifically, which provide legal authority for establishment of the fee schedule.

A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD AT THE TIME, DATE AND PLACE SHOWN BELOW:

All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard regarding the proposed fee. This public hearing may be continued to a date, time and place to be specified on the record at the public hearing. If anyone chooses to appeal any decision of the Board with respect to any matter considered at a public hearing held in response to a request for such a public hearing, such person will need a record of the proceedings and should accordingly ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made that includes the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based.
