PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on or about September 4, 2026, a Petition was filed commencing an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors, pursuant to Chapter 727, Florida Statutes, made by Sunland Distribution of Florida, Inc. (the “Assignor”) with its principal place of business at 401 East Jackson Street, Ste. 2340-012, Tampa, FL 33602, to Larry S. Hyman (the “Assignee”), whose has offices at Larry S. Hyman, C.P.A. & Associates, P.O. Box, 18625, Tampa, FL 33679. The Petition was filed in the Circuit Court of Hillsborough County, Florida.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that pursuant to §727.105 (1), Fla. Statutes, an action may not be commenced against the assignee except as provided in this chapter, but nothing contained in this chapter affects any action or proceeding by a governmental unit to enforce such governmental unit’s police or regulatory power. Except in the case of a consensual lienholder enforcing its rights in personal property or real property collateral, there shall be no levy, execution, attachment, or the like in respect of any judgment against assets of the estate in the possession, custody, or control of the assignee.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that pursuant to §727.112(2), Fla. Statues, in order to receive any dividend in this proceeding, you must file a Proof of Claim (a copy of which is enclosed) with the Assignee, Larry S. Hyman, Assignee, P.O. Box 18625, Tampa, FL 33679, or via Email to: [email protected], within 120 days from the filing date. Accordingly, a Proof of Claim must be filed with the Assignee on or before January 2, 2027, pursuant to the instructions set forth on the proof of claim form attached hereto as Exhibit A.
As required by law, the proof of claim and any supporting documentation you submit shall become part of the public record related to the Assignment Case. As a result, the Assignee and his professionals shall be permitted, and may be directed by the Court, to include such documentation, including to the extent provided, confidential information of clients, in any subsequent pleading, notice, document, list, or other public disclosure made in connection with the Assignment Case. Such inclusion by the Assignee and his professionals shall not constitute an improper revelation of confidential information under the Rules Regulating the Florida Bar.
